How to transfer a site to buyer?

Here's how you can copy the site across to a new cPanel account. Before you begin, you'll need:


Your login details for your web hosting account.


The login details for the buyer's web hosting account.

Prepare to export the WordPress files.


Choose the files you want to compress.


Select the compression type and archive name.


Download the compressed file archive.


Prepare to export the database.


Choose the database you want to export.


Check the export options.


Save the database.


Log in to the new host's cPanel.


Prepare to create the new database.


Name the new database.


Add a new database user.


Add the new user to the database.


Edit the WordPress configuration file.


Upload the file archive to the new host.


Extract the archived files.


Upload the database.


Change the domain path.


Browse the options table.


Make sure the upload path is correct.
