How to create a Squeeze page inside Wordpress?

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to create nice looking squeeze pages inside WordPress.

I already have some squeeze page templates that I can upload, but I hope there is a way to create a squeeze page inside WordPress itself. So, that I don't have to upload files separately.

I use the Suffusion Theme in which I can easily create pages without side bars and without showing the header.

Are there any plugins on the market (free or paid, preferably free) that make it possible to create squeeze pages?

Hope you can give me some suggestions.

Thanks a lot,

Isaan

I'm not sure about free themes, sorry I can't help there! However, if you're willing to pay, check out optimizepress and/or profitstheme. Both have a lot of features going passed just squeeze pages. I do find profitstheme easier to use for squeeze pages due to their drag and drop placement of your page. Hope that helps!

Try OptimizePress, it's the best product I've ever bought! You can make very neat pages with it.

    Hope that helps

OptimizePress while a theme works best to make proffesional looking squeeze pages.

They also have several templates many of which have video placement built in.
This is the way to go.

      All thanks for your help.

Optimize Press will be a near future thing, but because of my budget I'm looking for some cheaper ways now.

I already found a way to insert tables in WordPress pages. So, this way I'm able to create squeeze pages in the Suffusion Theme.

      Thanks again,

If your budget is low, why not just create a new directory on your server and skip using your WordPress?

For a squeeze page, it is unlikely you want to show your menus and widgets so why not a simple HTML web page in a subdir?

When you have the budget, you can upgrade to a pro WP theme with squeeze page templates.

Although, if you look around with Google, I'm sure you could find a good WP squeeze template.

You don't have to limit yourself to only wordpress. Setting up a squeeze page is very easy. You can do it without any wordpress theme.

A squeeze page is really just a contact form surronded by some sales text and images. You can use Contact Form 7. The main trick is getting rid of everything you don't need on the page.

  • Nice looking doesn't mean they convert well.

If your using wordpress, you could create the squeeze page in a web page editor, like NVU, ect. When done, copy the code between the "body" tags and paste it in to a wordpress page, in HTMl mode. Course you will have to adjust any image paths.

    Just a thought.

Impact Template Editor plugin will let you easily set up new templates that you can use on any Post or Page. You can easily eliminate headers and footers for the template pages or create new ones.
