WEB DESIGN

I know it is important to use H1 tags and I do use them on every page but how important is it to use the other H tags and how far down do you go. Should I be using H1 through H6 or just the first 3. Thanks Mark

How to use H tags
1. Use your Main keyword in H1 tag
2. Try to keep the “Keyword” first.
3. Use H2 tags to break down the main topic:
4. Don’t use H3 with SEO in mind.
5. Do not use H4, H5…… tags just because you want better SEOed page. They don’t carry much importance anyways.

H tags are your heading tags, look at it like a school essay report or something. You need to write a title so your teacher knows what its about right? Well google is no different, they need to know what you site is about. They do this through h tags, meta tags,. keywords, etc... so do not overlook h tags! Its a MUST for proper on page SEO!

you can use a nice trick to hide the H1 tags if your unsure, it works if u direct the crawler to them.

apply "dispaly=none" style(external) to them

now u can use any other tag if u want it to look more aesthetic.
i believe all the header tags carry the same weight any ways most will disagree.

I'm a big fan of the H tags. They tend to be quite useful and even if they don't help much as far as SEO, they help to let your readers scan the page and make them more likely to stick around.

H1 is best for post title and tag H2 to your keyword, rest or not important.

It is necessary to use H tag in a sequence like..h1,h2...h3..and so on.

to make things simpler and easier for you, just install seopressor or easy wp seo plugin on your wordpress blog.

  Google consider H1 tag mostly when crawling. You should use H1 tag in your title tag to get best results.

Google has said many times recently that they don't care about H tags, bold and any other formatting. It has no impact on SEO. So it's just for your convenience.

For God's Sake don't use the display: none; styling that someone suggested to hide page content that will get you penalized.

Just write quality content and stop trying to game the search engines.
