When I created my Wordpress page, the URL read (wwwdotdomain.com/wordpress)

How do I change the wordpress to "store" or "home" or anything?

Thanks so much

If you really have a blog at wordpress.COM - as indicated in the OP - you can NOT do anything. That is not your blog. It is owned by them.

Get your own domain and install the script from wordpress.ORG.

    Hi, Ewan
I think you should make a new wordpress instalation from cpanel on nw folder , for example :"store" or " home" or anything you want.

and then, go to existing wordpress to export your post and pages content from dashboard>tools>export.
    you will get xml files
this xml files can be imported to your new wordpress blog from dashboard>tools>import

      That's a crazy suggestion...

All he needs to do is to RENAME the "wordpress" folder to something else, like "store"..
      Steps:

      - login to wp-admin
      - go > Settings > General
      - edit the two URL fields, i.e. change the folder name : save
      - use your FTP client and rename the "wordpress" folder on your server

It will kick you out but you can login again to the new location and the site should work.
