Any Templates for Secure Websites - Website, Not Wordpress?

Hi Group:

I built and maintain my company website; and have also worked on a Thesis based wordpress blog, so I'm somewhat familar with websites.

I want to launch a simple website, consisting of a landing page, a descriptive page or two and an order form for Paypal payments.

I'm worried the site will be targeted for hacking due to its content; heck, maybe evn by competitors.

Are there any template type packasges that offer secure and properly structured html framework, ready to go "out of the box"? Kind of like Thesis for wordpress?

Thanks in advance

Take a look over at themeforest.com

Don't count Wordpress out entirely. As long as it's secured correctly, you're fine. There's plenty of large scale websites using Wordpress.

Thanks Kingfish. Your post got me thinking and I am revisiting a possible Thesis blog.

Sure thing. Just make sure it's secured correctly.

LOL, every time I get sucked into the whole WP/Thesis trap. I swear, some of these chikd themes/skins - not for intermediate skill level, let alone a beginner.

Way easier to create an html page, especially working with secure forms.

            What exactly do you mean?

Trying to figure out how to use secured forms and a purchase option, within Thesis framework....I couldn't readily find any easy or reliable solutions or answers.

So back to creating a simple website based on template I already used; and then I'll use a third party secure forms provider to keep everything safe.

LOL, and back to my Dreamweaver 8 program since Adobe locked me out of my Dreamweaver CS5 installation. Duh, I reformat my compuer tewice per year and now I've exceeded the 2 license activation.

Edit: I was able to chat with Adobe and they opened up another activation license.

It is very rare that simple HTML web sites get hacked. If they do, it's because either there was keylogger malware on the admin's machine... or the whole host server has been compromised.
