Is this right anchor text please?

Hi,
I'm trying to imput some sample audio clips in my ebay auction. I've read it's best just to use an anchor text link. However when I imput it into frontpage it doesn't change to a clickable link in 'normal' view but just shows the string I inputted! Arghh!
Here's the string I'm using:- <a href="http://www.mysite.com/clip001.mp3">Click here</a> to listen to the music!

    Rich - I don't use Frontpage, but assuming it works the same as every other editor, you need to enter that in code view!

    If you're in normal view then just type your anchor text (Click here) then click on the link icon (probably looks like a chain) and enter the URL in there (http://www.mysite.com/clip001.mp3)

    In terms of SEO anchor text, for this example, adding audio to an eBay page, it doesn't really matter... But if you're creating links to your site 'click here' is not really a useful anchor. You want to use your keywords instead.

    So if this was your text:

    Click here for keywords

    You would want to make 'keywords' the anchor, not 'click here' (unless you're trying to rank for the term 'click here'!)

        Yes - exactly...

        Anchor text just refers to the text which you use for a hyperlink - i.e. the actual string of text that your user clicks on!

          It's time to ditch Frontpage!!! It produces horrible, invalid, bloated markup that doesn't work in many browsers. It's been end-of-life (a new version will never be made) for 5 years, replaced by Expression Web.
