Load speed - is this slow compared to others ??

Hi folks I have been comparing my loadspeed after few grumbles from customers and when I compare to other blogs ie 4 hour work week mine is loading way slower.

Not sure if I need to bin this theme or if host (fasthosts ) here in UK is issue...any advice or takes on this would be welcome - personal best dot co dot uk is the site

    seems fine to me and I'm running ADSL2 - I ran it through pingdom and it got a score of 80/100

    Try webpagetest.org

    You can select locations from all over the world and compare loading speeds. It also gives you a page breakdown that might tell you what is slowing things down.

    Dont know what happened. Used to have hundreds of posts on here. Left for a while - came back and everything gone... no-one answers my emails.... So guess I'll just start from scratch... :0(

    Slowness can be observed many times without any fault in the site, hence you don't need to worry about it, as most of the members have already confirmed about the loading speed. However, in general, its really important to make your website loading time as fast as you can by optimizing it properly and making it user friendly.

      Slow download speed. I just purchased a new hp dv2000 laptop which comes with the new Vista Home Premium and it has Norton Anti- virus.

    Just reviewed your site. It loads quite fast. The colors are not too heavy to load and the pictures are light as well making the page load quite fast. If there are complains, try getting the location of your customers and try a website load test from those locations.
