Apple's home page beyond looking great, currently has some cool functionality. How are they delaying the display of their menubar? Is there a simple way of doing this?

    Hi,

    I think what we're seeing is the new CSS3 web transition. I haven't seen any real evidence of it being javascript powered except the AC_Blackout code but I don't want to look through all of that. I've seen apple.com use code such as
    -webkit-transition: opacity .8s ease-in; opacity:1;

    Within their source code and I haven't yet checked out
    the new CSS3 transitions to be an expert on the subject.

    It's JS (I can tell because I have no-script and I can block JS, must have for web developers and security reasons), it is likely some simple jQuery code.

    Thanks guys, sadly I do not know Javascript.... I was hoping it was some crazy CSS trick. Whats up with the -webkit stuff anyways? Does it work across all platforms / browsers?

      No my class teacher told me that without JS its not quite easy. Hey bro JS is also not so hard to learn.
