What's a curated site? You can check out ElegantThemes though . I love going to their forums for advice.

  In a nutshell, curation is where you take the best information from a particular niche, make your own comments about the information, display a small snippet of this information on your website with a link back to the original article or post. Take a look at the Drudge Report website for a good example.

I have a curated news site and I use a magazine/news theme for it. Most themes can be used for curated sites. Just a matter of your own personal preference, so shop around for a theme you like. Woo Themes has some nice free ones. I've been thinking about trying out one of their Tumbler blog styles.
