Hi,

My header is an image (jpg file).
My site is on wordpress, and using a presswork theme.
The only option I have for a header is to upload an image.
How can I get around this?

You have an image. Header is to be an uploaded image.
    (Very typical, I might add)

So...........what's the problem? Upload your image!

My gosh you don't know how frustrated it is to read
posts like this.....many know how I feel about wordpress
    webmaster wannabes having no clue...

Don't want an image? Header images are the standard....
but if you don't want an image, fill it in with text!!!!!!

    How? Oh man.......

If the theme currently has a header image, then right click on the image and view it in a new tab to get the URL of the image. Then use FTP to navigate to the image location in your hosting account, and upload your new image over the old image. You'll want to make sure that your new image is the same size (width & height) and it will need to be named the same to copy over the old image - which generally requires that you upload an image of the same type (.jpg, .gif, .png, etc..).

I assume you DO NOT want a header Image. If the theme is well designed the header will most likely have its own CSS class.

Post a link to your site, or the theme somewhere else and someone will be able to help you. (ie: tell you what css file to add 'display:none' to and where)
