Does anyone know anything about this? I can't seem to find a lot of information about it but if you go to their sales page, it seems to be pretty packed with extras. The help center links to w3schools, which I understand is a really good thing. As you can tell, I am pretty green when it comes to web design, and I have considered some other options that I have seen discussed here: namely xsitepro and rapid niche websites. The WFX Builder is pretty inexpensive though, and I just wondered if anyone had any input about it.

I don't know about any of that, but most of the fancy effects you find on any decent website, either come from knowledge of building sites, or script libraries that are accessed through an API. Actually, a combination of both, as using a library without knowledge is rather pointless.

Rather than invest money money into something that trys to do everything for you (never even heard of WFX), I would invest some time into learning the skills it takes to do what you need. Tools without knowledge aren't very useful: it's like trying to build a structure with only a hammer.

I totally agree about the learning part. In fact, I am working very hard to do that. I have recently taken a basic html course at the local community college. It was a free course sponsored by the small business association and the chamber of commerce, so a great deal!

However, having a little help never hurt anyone either. I have a link where I can get that WFX for 13.50, and since it IS an html editor, and it DOES link to w3schools.com, I thought it might be a useful tool. Just looking for input from someone who might have used it before.

I would link to it so that you could look at it, but I don't think that I am allowed, since I am new here. (If you google it like this: websitefx builder .. you should be able to see it.)

I will say that the reason I was led to it is through a website creation course that I signed up for with Tim Whiston, who I believe is a member in good standing here. That is why I thought some of you might know about it.

      Thanks for your response,
