Thanks!

    Edit your stylesheet.

    Find this line

    .menu-primary-container {
    ...
    ...
    ...
    }

    and add
    display:none;
    Signature

    Is this code right now?

    .menu-primary-container {
    padding: 0 0 3px 10px;
    position:relative;
    height: 38px;
    background: url(images/menu-primary-bg.png) left bottom repeat-x;
    z-index: 400;
    margin-bottom: 12px;
    display:none;

    }

    It got rid of the gray line, but also got rid of my menu bar for pages.

      Definitely not what you want to do. Delete 'display:none;' from the CSS above and temporarily delete your header image and you'll see that the navigation is fine and the "gray line" is where it's supposed to be.

      Then you set the header image (minus the text) as your header background and make the text (your site title) the logo image as that's how your theme is set up.

      Best,

    The "gray line" is your navigation menu background image. The problem is your header image is breaking the theme because it's too big and your theme header is not expanding properly.

    To fix this, you need a header image and a logo image. The header image should be set as the background and should be full width 960px.

    Then you setup a logo 280px by 46px containing your site title or whatever you want clickable.

    Best,

    Logan

    P.S. - I was going to include some screenshots, but I think you are editing your site as we speak, the navigation is no longer present on the site. If you want more help, add the navigation menu back to your site and I can show you exactly what I mean.

    Thanks Logan! I have completed 2 of your 3 steps. I deleted the display:none, and made the site title the logo image. But can you explain how I set my header image as header background?

      For your header image, go to line 91 in your CSS file at:

      #header {
      height: 60px;
      padding:20px 0;
      }

      and then add:

      #header {
      height: 60px;
      padding:20px 0;
      background: url(http://howtogetridofcoldsoresguide.c...04/header1.png) no-repeat;
      }

      Although, you might want to create one without text and should be 960px wide. Additionally, you can take your site title and make a "logo" as your theme supports it so you can choose your font and font size. It all depends on how far you want to go with your site.

      Best,

    Thanks Logan! Looking good now except the last problem is my search bar is overlapping. I don't mind deleting it, do you know how I do that?

      You're welcome, glad to help out. I received your PM that you solved the search bar issue. I had to sign out as it was getting late here in China.

      Best,
