Two Problems With My Wordpress Blog

Hi Warriors

A few problems have cropped up on my blog over the last few days.

1. I published a new post last night titled Top 3 DIY Body Butter Recipes at: http://www.revitaliseyourhealth.com/...utter-recipes/

I placed it into the "Recipes" category, but if you visit the Recipes category the post is not displayed.

http://www.revitaliseyourhealth.com/category/recipes/

It's definitely been categorized correctly because at the top of the post it says:

You are here: Home / Recipes / Top 3 Best DIY Body Butter Recipes

Any idea what's wrong? I can't think of anything that has changed about my blog since my last post which was categorized fine.

I did update Wordpress today but only AFTER I noticed the issue.

2. My second issue is to do with the loading of my blog. I'm not sure if it's something to do with my hosting or my blog and something gone wrong.

Occasionally when I load my blog, it says "Sending request..." at the bottom for a while and then goes blank and comes up with a Google Chrome error message saying:

Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to www.revitaliseyourhealth.com

This probably happens about 50% of the time I try to load a page.

I'm using Google Chrome.

How can I check to see whether this is a rogue plug-in or server issue?

Thanks so much in advance for your help.

James

    Hi James,

Just wanted to let you know that I am also using Chrome and have the same problem on your site with it not loading all the time. I did some research on the Sending request message and apparently there are others with this issue too. Check out this article: smallbusiness.chron.com/fix-google-chrome-sending-request-31624.html and try steps 4-7 to see if that helps to correct it.

Thanks Pam for taking a look.

I think you've helped me establish that there is definitely something not right in the relationship between my blog and Google Chrome.

I've found that all users who have experienced the blog timing out have been using Google Chrome.

So what could possibly be wrong with my blog that causes it to not function properly for Chrome users?

      Thanks,
      James
