Where to get free png images?

Does anyone know where I can get get free images (preferably png but jpeg can work too), that I can use and resell as part of a WordPress template I'm working on?

If not free, low cost?

Just would like to know where everyone gets their images for header templates that can be legally resold as part of a header template design in WP theme.

Thanks in advance or any feedback.

I believe there is a section inside of the Creative Commons section of Flickr for such ideas. If not, I'm sure you could contact the creator of the image and ask for permission. Otherwise, paying is your best bet.

Try these 2 sites Free Stock Photos & Images | StockFreeImages.com and stock.xchng - the leading free stock photography site ... not the best but they are free! Also, just google free stock images or free stock photos and should find some more.

the images are limited, its not a huge library like istockphoto or something.. but at least its FREE.

PhotoRack (can't yet post links) is free for commercial products as well, and their photograhs are great.

Low cost? Meh, most are the same; istockphoto, PhotoDune, Fotolia, ShutterStock etc.

To create headers you need the right images, I found it a pain when I was trying to create them due to the image rights. Most of the images say commercial use but that's only for creating for one client, not creating multiple headers.

I did find that stock.xchng - the leading free stock photography site have some good images but you need to get permission from each owner.

If your giving the PSD files away then you definitely need to make sure you use the right images.

The was a product once called professional header templates and they created tons of headers and also had professional photos that you could do anything with.

It was by a warrior so maybe you can still find it.

Don’t search png images I am sharing software in which has lots of things that you convert any image in png format. The link is below and hopefully it may solve your problem.

I didn't read the whole thread but look for: public domain images, free stock images, creative-commons images (i think all these 3 categories can be even used commercialy, not 100% sure though). Also on flicker there's a gallery of images you can use how you like.

You can try deviantart.com. There are a lot of images with multiple format, such as JPEG, PNG, ICON, bitmap, and photos.
