hello:
I am setting my website, but i don not know how to add"download" button in website? It only work on widget area or anywhere?It could used for any theme or certain theme?

    Follow this steps:
    1. upload the image u wish to use in your image folder of your website
    2. call the image on your website by adding this <a href="location you want your users to go after they click the button e.g http://www.yourwebsite.com><img src="where you placed the image in your website e.g. /img/downloadbutton.jpg" alt="downloadbutton"></a>

    To add a telephone number
    <a href="tel:your telephone number">your telephone number</a>

        You can do a basic download button.. or you could do something that will actually help you in the long run and be useful. I personally use wordpress.org/extend/plugins/download-monitor WordPress Download Monitor for all of my wordpress sites that involve downloading.

        You can see it in action here: freeiconzone.com/free-developer-icon-set-special-edition/ (This is my site, I am not forcing you to go there, just showing an example of the plugin in action.)

        It can track downloads, hits, views, etc etc.. it is a very useful download plugin and i suggest it to everyone that uses wordpress.

        This is my personal opinion and if anyone does not like or has had an issue with Download Monitor I am sorry. Just trying to give helpful advice.
