Deleted Admin in WP

I wanted better security so with my new domain, uploaded and installed the theme to the domain. Created a New User account in Wordpress with Admin acsess, then logged into the New account and deleted the original Admin account.

My theme seems abit messed up now, is there anyway I can delete the domain name from my host (bluehost) and start over in order to get back a new Amin account?

Do you guys create a new user, then delete the admin account?

    You don't have to remove your domain name from your web host, all you have to do is delete all the old wordpress files and just reinstall it again. I'm not sure how one-click installer for Bluehost works but in Softaculous, you get given the option to what the admin username would be. Make sure that the new user account you created has the same rights as the original admin account.

    You can restore the database and try again. And I cant think a point of deleting the Admin account and then create another.

    Whatever software you used to install it, should also be able to uninstall the whole thing. Just poke around for the uninstall button, click it and start over.

    Go to your cPanel. Using phpMyAdmin, delete all the contents of your WordPress database. Don't delete the database. Now go to your website usisng a browser to start afresh.

    Hello,

    deleting default admin account is usually not a good idea. What you can try is disabling your default admin account, so there we'll be no active accounts with name Admin or administrator. It is considered as a good security practice.

    Make sure to create an admin like account before disabling the default one.
