What I like most in blogs is when they provide quality information to readers/target audience. I believe that you have just provided good and quality information. The layout of the site is maybe too simple though, and you may want to consider changing picture in your banner. The picture must also be related to your niche/topic. Also, the URLs when you click any pages, for instance "About ME" should also be changed/renamed.

Hi Autum,

Thank you so much for taking the time you view my site and to post you kind suggestions. I do try and put quality content as I want my followers to keep coming back. Would you know of a theme specifically to do with Origami or a similar art kind of a theme that I could use? What should I rename the About me page to? Sorry am still a newbie and trying to learn the ways of a IM. Thanks for you help

I like the site, very professional and great color use.
I really like the layout and colors. I don't feel there is a need to make the table resize. If you did that it makes the pages a little more intimidating to the reader IMO. Good job.

Thanks for reviewing my site. I just changed the theme today. Did you see the one with the Origami figure on top?

Hi Leo,

Thanks for the comment. I actually used a website design software and this was one of the templates. I just edited the columns and a few of the blocks. It's a little difficult to get the right logo for a site like mine.

I visited you site and i must say i was very impressed. Don't focus all your attention on the site's look but rather on content. Google or facebook never looked like the way they are now but people were still using them because it gives them better solution and contents.

I think you need to focus more on typography and getting custom background graphics to compliment with the site's theme.

Hey Cssbros,

Thanks, that sounds like a helpful tip. I have just started the blog so am in the process of collecting more information, editing and posting. I still need to learn how to customize graphics and integrate them with my theme. There is so much to learn but it can't all been done in a day. I final managed to get a theme that I think is more suitable to my Origami site. I am however having a problem changing the size of the font on the slider. Would anyone know how to do that?

The color combination just suits your site but there is too much white space. Try adding some divider.

Hi, Yes I know, I had some color on but it was distracting the written stuff so I took the background color off. I will try playing with the color scheme again and see if I can come up with something more suitable. Hello Everyone, After all the comments on this thread and joining a six month mentoring program, I finally decided to do a blog on Internet Marketing. I changed my theme and added lots more posts.

I would love for you all to take a look again and give me some suggestions of how I could improve it. It's taken me 3months to put this blog up! Lol. Took a lot of time getting used to the theme. It's an amazing theme with lots of features that I think I will use in the future.

Hi Monathoo,

I checked your site and everything seems to be in order but I think that there's too little going on. Work on making more content I guess and featuring those on your main page. When I think of origami, correct me if I'm wrong, I think about colorful papers and fun shapes to fold them into. So maybe you could work on your design to make it more fun and dynamic (but not too much of course)

Honestly I don't like the color of the "sticky notes" on the front page. But other than that the website is fine in my opinion!

I don't like that after hover a link it stay blue.. It should go back to the original color

my first impression is that the site is "not finished". I like the first half ("above the fold"), color scheme looks well balanced, but then when I scroll down ... nothing.
So I'd definitely keep the part above the fold, but beef up the lower part with more content, and put some more related stuff in the footer.
