need help moving WP website

I have a wp website that is hosted on 1and1

i need to move it to another going to use hostgator as the others that I have there seem to be working fine.

I need to move it because i am tired of not being able to update and having to go in and manually do all updating and changing and paying people and asking when I ned something done ironically just like now

am I able to just change the DNS settings on the 1and1 domain panel or should I transfer all of it to hostgator?:confused:

    I think perhaps you should look on some tutorials on how to move the wordpress sites from wordpress official sites or you can look for a hosting provider that can help you move the site actually.

      I have both hostgator and 1and1 hosting accounts so I have a lot of experience doing this.

      You will need to copy/move the wp site (files/db) and point the domain name from your registrar to the new location. The tricky part is if your domain name registrar is 1and1. I sent you a PM.
