I just bought CS3 Master Suite and I need simple help

WEB DESIGN

I'm kind of a nut. I don't know anything about web design. But I wanted the master suite to learn how to use it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I would like to know how to create a basic sales letter and upload it to the internet myself?

Which program(s) do I use?

CS3 involves hours and hours of learning. Perhaps you can find a tutorial that will simply the process for you easily, but generally people get diplomas and degrees in how to use software like CS3 which involves Advanced Web Design or Artistic courses. Alternatively you can buy official guides, still the learning curve is steep.

It would have been easier if you stuck with an easy to use program that would simply the process for you.

I personally would never recommend CS3 to someone that has no experience.

Just do some googling for CS3 tutorials. I am sure you will find something somewhere.

  holy cow, from newbie to cs3!
  only advice I could ever give on this would be..don't be afraid to click buttons! open an image and see what everything does.

  some awesome tutorials on this site, its where im learning photoshop cs3 and dreamweaver cs3, but its along road ahead but fun.

  Just like posted above open an image in photoshop and start pressing buttons find out what they do. One thing I do is keep a file with links of tutorials that I have used. so that I can go back and not have to search for them again.
  
  There are loads of sites out there that can get you started. the cs3 suite can be very overwhelming at first especially if you are a beginner.
  
  Dont give up or you will never learn the software.
  
  I use photoshop for graphics and dreamweaver for creating the actual html pages.
  
  I use cuteftp for uploading everything.
