Can anyone help me with a CSS hack?

I'm trying to build a 2-column layout using CSS:

Lower blood pressure naturally

The 2 columns are placed inside a 960 pixel wrapper, centered, which should give white margins on each side.

It displays fine in Firefox but (naturally) not in IE7! The first column is extending all the way to the left outside the boundary of the wrapper. How can this be?

Is there a hack that can fix this? Thanks for any tips!

    I just checked it with ie7 and it works perfectly and looks the same
    as in FF. I guess maybe you got it all worked out now?

    Thanks, Lloyd. It's yes, and no. I got the problem worked out in another page but the one on display here still shows no white margin in IE7. This isn't the only display glitch I get with IE7 so I wonder if mine has bugs. I'll have to reinstall it.

      for ff use: width:yourwidth;
      for ie6 use: *width:yourwidth;
      for ie7 use _width:yourwidth;

      this needs to be done in that order.

    You wont need to use any hacks for this. I recommend that you validate your page at The W3C Markup Validation Service and see what errors you get. Once everything is fixed, then you can begin debugging if the problem is still there.
