Categories missing with Flexsqueeze theme. Help?

Anyone use Flexsqueeze theme? My site has suddenly lost the static page under each category listing. When I click on a category, it goes to a "not found" page. My posts are listed there, but the original page on each is gone. I had not worked on the site for a while and the only thing I did was updated WP to new version a couple days ago. I did post on the Flexsqueeze forum but have not heard anything yet. Is there a simple fix for this? Thanks.

Check the url your category is pointing to.

If the url includes the name of the category, check your settings > permalinks to ensure they include the /%category%/ within the custom structure setting.

What version of Flexsqueeze are you using?

      I am using 1.5.
I checked my permalinks and made it what you suggested above and it works fine now. I think I did have it set like that but it was not when I checked. Not sure what happened but thank you.

I use Flexsqueeze a lot and sometimes it can be tricky. I don't see any categories in the sidebar. The navigation (nav) tabs are not exactly categories. There should be one page for each nav tab. Check "All pages" and make sure they are there where you put them. lol Next check "All posts" and check if they are there where they belong.

Ok. Next go to Widgets under Appearance. Move the categories tab to the sidebar and configure it in the dropdown box. Then save. preview changes and refresh the page and everything should be fixed.

If it doesn't fix the problem it could be the menu. Go to menus under appearance. There should be a list of pages on the left side. Click add page for each one and you will have a menu lined up on the right. move them up and down to put them in the order that you want the nav tabs.

My last suggestion if all above fails, is to find a person on Fiverr.com to fix the issue for you.

I hope this fixes your problem. BTW, you have a really nice site.

    Good luck,
    Carole
