Help me review my new AUCTION site

Hi there, I'm currently working on an auction site which focuses on simplicity and efficiency, so you can see there are not a lot of bells and whistles on it.
I just wanna know esthetically how does it look first impression wise and also navigatioanlly .

Would anyone pay for such a site? How can I improve the website ?

    Yes, that was one major concern, still trying to bump up the security though.

    I think your main focus (your flash images) are getting a bit lost in the home page - the rest of the page is too similar so the main banner loses it's 'pop'.

    Perhaps a different colour or borders would help?

    its ok i wouldnt use amazon affiliate banners. They offer a similar service and of course have a much better reputation. you may get 1 affiliate commission but they will never be back. Design is nice though. Good luck with it
