I am not looking to copy paste the website this is definitely what I imagined my website to be. I am a complete noob to website design/maintenance. I know 0.00
I would like my first website to look a little bit like the one above. Simple with only a few pages. But I do want to have this design. Minimalistic, futuristic. I like it very much. How is it made? Wordpress?

    look into Joomla, over time.. (and it will take dedication to learn but there are resources out there for free) I would use that, wordpress is the lazy mans route.

      I agree. Eons ago before I even knew what anchors were, I did my research, got a bit of help from friends who had the knowhow, and set off down the path of joomla. I never looked back and it was awesome for my needs at the time. If you need a pre-fab but customizable solution, Joomla is totally a good choice.

    What is the main advantage of using Joomla?
    Wordpress is user friendly unlike Joomla.
    I have nothing againts Joomla but if you can state the advantages and give some tutorial sites and success stories in using it then maybe i should think about it.

    Joomla... Wordpress... we all have our favorite. I've seen great sites in both and if you are just getting started pick one and learn it. How good you are able to make your site look is really dependent on how well you learn to manipulate the code or if you decide to pay someone else that knows how just like anything else. I hope you find what you are looking for.
