Question for Genesis & Elegant theme users

Hey everyone!
I have come a little dilemma and I'm not quite sure which theme to pick for my niche, I currently own a developer license with Elegant Themes & Genesis Framework + All child themes,

My chosen niche is a Gadget authority site (mainly dealing with android mobile phones) but I do want the main income to be from Amazon affiliate links through product reviews, but still attain the authoritative status of a gadget site with tips,guides,reviews and such.

Has anyone used both and is willing to shed some light onto which I should be using ?

    Personally I'd go with Genesis. I use that mostly myself, although I have worked with some themes from Elegant Themes when clients asked me. Still, I feel that Genesis is much easier to work with, plus the fact that you have child themes so you don't have to worry about dealing with upgrades once you made changes to the design is a big plus in my eyes.

    Use Genesis and you'll have a lot more advantages than using Elegant Themes

    I use Genesis on most to all of my sites now,not because it's any better or worse than Elegant Themes, it's because I familiarized myself with genesis and stuck with it,also jumping from theme to theme can be a big time drain I find.
    It's a nice system to work with and they have lots of themes to choose from and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good theme.

        It all depends on the topic of the site your building,different themes for different topics,go through their selection HERE
        I like to use their News theme and Magazine Theme on my sites,they also have a bunch of free themes you can use HERE but you will still need the Genesis framework to use those.
