Is their any other software for designing except photoshop..?

I second that. GIMP is one of my favourite image editors. It might not have the huge list of features like Photoshop does, but it's free and gets the job done for my needs. If I need something any better, I am sure to give my buddy a call, anyways

I just use paint.net mainly for images. But if you're creating ebook covers/3d graphics kinda thing then gimp would be a good choice.

GIMP is mainly used in linux . I know someone who uses Photobie and they are very satisfied with It

Photoshop is a great software, why don't you use It ? if you want a free alternative you can use GIMP, but It's far behind Photoshop . Photoshop is really worth the money you pay for It

Frankly I think this very much depends on what exactly you have in mind. If you are talking about drawing pictures of a website . Basically just designing the look of the site I prefer Coreldraw for drawing pictures because it's a whole lot faster especially for something like a website which is all about containers and layout Coreldraw is way faster. Now if you're talking about actually building a website I prefer Visual Web Developer and I will often use Photoshop to build the finished graphics that I will use in my website.

You may want to try Photo editor online - Pixlr.com edit image

Its an online app and doesn't require any downloading and its a good Photoshop alternative.
