Hi

I have setup my website using wysiwyg 8 and it looks great to me (I have no idea what Google or anyone else will think).

But I also want to create a link to my shop which will be created using WordPress.

Is it possible to have them both on the same site? I think there is a thing called subdomains on my web host.

Can I create one of these sub domains or do I need to buy an extra domain name?

Thanks smith33122 also known as Chris

A sub-domain should be fine. If your host offers Wordpress installation using fantastico it's easily done.

When you install you will see a field that says "install in". Enter the name that you want to call your sub-domain in that box. Fantastico will create the sub-domain for you and install Wordpress.

Then you can add a link to your shop from your main site.

Yes you can install wordpress on a subdomain which will work perfect, it also prevents you from spending more money on another domain.

    Hey Smith,
You could use the primary domain name and have another as a sub with wordpress... I recommend still purchasing the domain name of the second website, and just using your hosting account to apply a redirect to the subdomain.
