Wordpress themes question

If I've completely customized a wordpress theme, can I simply copy it to another site, and use it there as well?

What I mean is, can I copy the customized theme to the themes folder of another site and then simply activate it. Would that work?

    The other option you have is to clone the site so that your customized theme will be completely copied. My favorite plugin for this is wptwin.

    The word "copy" is misleading...

    Yes, you can take = download a theme from one site and you can upload it to another site and activate it there. In other words, if you have a theme, you can use it on any number of sites.

    Of course, you have to be sure that you had the rights to modify (customize) the theme on the initial site!
