Why are you repeating the background vertically?

But I did trace stuff and it looks pretty wierd lol.

Keep in mind that I'm not a hardcode web designer.

I know enough HTML and CSS to be dangerous, but that's about the extent of my knowledge.

The CSS for the gradient for the background was generated at ColorZilla. All I've done is copy/paste the generated CSS.

I don't see anything in the CSS that's repeating the background vertically.

For now, I've decided to go back to a solid background until I can figure out a better way of doing it.

looked at your page in both Chrome and Firefox (Linux Ubuntu) and I don't see any gradient, it's solid blue. Furthermore, FF screws with the text input (urlfield) which pushes it over the light blue frame, which pushed your "trace url" button on the next line ... and I'm assuming that is NOT what you want. Maybe check out different OSes too ...

Thanks for your feedback. If you look at my previous post, you'll see that I said I went back to a solid background.

What version of FF are you using?

I've used FF on two different computers and the URL field and Trace URL button are within the boundaries.

Thanks for the screenshot Bryan, that's really helpful.

Have to say that I didn't think too many people would be using older FF versions. I'm using FF 15, so FF8 is quite a few versions behind.

Is there any particular reason you use such an old version?

Regardless, I'll look at tweaking the CSS to make it fit. I have noted I get the same issue when I view the site on my Android phone.
