Hi, I'm looking for a software or anything that will allow you to manage multiple Wordpress sites (the theme, plugins, layouts, etc...) I have done some research on the internet but I am not sure if they are the best options, does anyone have any suggestions on this?

I found Expert Wordpress and WpMU (not open to new members)
How does Expert Wordpress sound, does the software update as time passes by?

Thank you for your time and help.

To make this clear. These WordPress websites you are trying to manage, are they on separate installs? Or part of a WP network?

If they are in a network, you don't need anything to manage them, you can do this from the main WP dashboard.

If they are on separate installs, you could try Infinite WP : infinitewp.com.

Managing a web of sites from within the WP admin ...yikes, that sounds painful.
      Seriously, how scalable is that?
I guess a small web of a few sites might do, but more than that, I'm not sure.
Well, a site is just a group of pages, but the more pages you add,
the harder it is to manage them inside WP's admin tables.
At least I'd personally find that a pain, for some reason.
Thanks for the infinitewp tip !! will check them out ...

Unless you know what are you doing and use the WP MultiSite feature introduced in WP 3.0. I am sure "websmartme" was referring to that.

Yes, Istvan, precisely. And Bryan, it isn't a pain, unless you have tons of websites in your network and you keep them on shared hosting. Anyway, glad you find my suggestion useful.

It sounds like enabling the WP Multisite feature (like the posters above said), would be your solution. However, I'd suggest hiring someone who knows what he/she's doing to do that for you.

It's not a simple "click the button" and all will work.
