Playing music on a website

I am working on a few sites for musicians, etc. and I’m looking for a way to post their music so people can hear the songs in their entirety, but not download them (i.e. pirating). For example:
  • we have iTunes widgets, but they only play samples (and we can’t control what segment is presented)
  • TuneCore widgets only present music by the song/album owner, which may be the record label, meaning delays, involving more people just to get something simple approved.
I would love to hear recommendations from other webmasters, and here is what am hoping to find:

Required:
  • Secure – browsers not able to download MP3s (or other format) and steal the songs
Desired:
  • Play the whole song, not just a snippet (I can do that myself)
  • Ability to play/display/present an entire album
  • Easy “buy” option
    • Buy song
    • Buy album
  • Multiple vendors (iTunes, Amazon, Napster, Rhapsody, CD Baby, CD Universe)
  • Affiliate option(s)
  • Embeddable (as opposed to a WordPress-specific plugin)
    • Shareable (“share this link” or “share this widget”)
  • Conveniently manageable by webmaster
    • e.g. TuneCore only allows the owner of the music to upload
    • delegating authority to manage a widget might be reasonable
  • Integration with ArtistData or ReverbNation databases, etc.
    • (nice to have, but lower priority)
  • Affordable (ideally free, but not necessarily)
I realize I might not find the “perfect” tool all-in-one, and different tools might better serve some artists, labels or festivals, etc. than others. Gotta love the free market. ;-)

I invite you to share your experiences, comparisons and recommendations with the various services out there.

      Yeah, I realize I can’t stop everyone; I want to take reasonable precautions, due diligence, etc.
