Ever notice that people who spend money on WSO, memberships and courses, are always complaining about being broke and not making any money ?

They should have bought ASSETS instead.

You say that like it's old.

It's still as big as it even was and part of Adobe Creative suite.

I use Dreamweaver MX 2004 though. I haven't found a need for any of the newer versions.

Hahaha, apologise for the quick blurt.

It's a powerful tool, but I have stop using it since 2003 because I have moved on (or some say downgrade) to code and design a webpage using notepad++.

It's still big and a preferred choice for responsive design.

The wording of the post is a bit confusing. I am going to guess, ok?

I think you are looking for platforms to build websites(?)

Most people here uses wordpress, you can install it directly from any hosting with fantastico, and probably others as well.

The option I use - but is not popular - is joomla, easy to install as well. Some people say is more difficult to navigate, i can´t relate.

Dreamweaver allows you to build websites from scratch. it is a great tool, and very powerful. I do have it. Been using it, among other tools, for almost 10 years. I would not recommend you to do websites from scratch unless they are very simple, the learning curve is a bit abrupt for anything but html, and it just doesn´t worth it unless you want to make a business out of it.

I have the full version & I have no clue how to use it.

LOL it just sits on my laptop, collecting virtual dust..

If you check some sites out & find good resources, post them for the rest of us when you get a chance.

I'm sure if I knew how to use it, I could make some AWESOME sites.. I just don't even know where to start with that thing.

Dreamweaver is a web developer's choice for building offline websites or adding in complex code.

The program itself I use every now and again I use it for CSS, PHP and more complex HTML scripting.

What exactly is your question about the program?

I began with a course in a book, then decided to take a Dreamweaver class at a local community college's adult education program.

You may not have that in your country, so...

Get the "Dreamweaver For Dummies" book from Amazon, or just go to Youtube, and search for Dreamweaver. There are quite a number of free tutorials on Youtube.

Yes I would highly recommend using a content management system like WordPress or Joomla! to create a website quickly. But if you're interested in learning how to design websites Dreamweaver is the tool to use. The reason why I would recommend a content management system is because designing with Dreamweaver is a constant ongoing task and it's hard to optimize for SEO because there's just so much manual Coding that you will have to do to create a webpage. Not that it's hard, it's just a lot of consistent work.

1. Local college community course is best, but not cheap and may not be available in India.

2. There are many online courses available.
