Does this look professional so far?

I sometimes really like the things I make when it comes to designing websites and sometimes I have to go through twenty prototypes before I am even a little satisfied. That being said, some of the things that I make that I really enjoy are sometimes said to be flawed and unprofessional by other designers.

Blah blah blah.

How does this look so far?

    Looking good so far mate, maybe a few little pointers.

    Not entirely sure about the positioning of the search bar mate, I would recommend aligning it with content box in which is directly below.

    I like the social media box, well positioned and it stand's out.

    Maybe attempt to make the navigation more stand out, make it unique; maybe some image styling?

      Ah, I was in the middle of throwing the search box around when I decided to screen cap it and see what kind of feedback I would get. I will probably have the search box at the top, above the header. I have tried a couple things with the navigation, but I'm sort of at a loss right now.

      I'm trying to keep it modern yet serious looking. (Stupid quote aside.)

    It looks good.

    The social media icons on the header is not match for your header. Try with new designs and colors for the icons. Hope its looks more professional once you code it in HTML5/CSS3 with some little effects.
