Is the very latest WordPress version problem-free? Problems to be aware of?

I'm hearing 'by the grapevine' that some ppl are having some problems with the latest WP.

Any truth to that?

I'm going to be launching some WP sites, and will be doing it as a 'one man' show - so cannot afford too many hiccups.

Any advice is very welcome! Thanks!!

Good question. My concern with 3.5 is whether it will work with popup domination. I've had serious problems with PD due to a WP update. I always have to cross my fingers whenever WP updates in hopes that it doesn't mess up my plugins. I can't let go of PD because it SUCKS UP optins.

I had a minor issue using auto update... Everything appeared to be working fine but I was seeing an error msg that the auto update failed. I just updated again manually and everything was fine.

Any specific PLUG INs that people have found to be a problem with the latest WP ?

I'm doing a clean install from scratch and looking at adding plug ins soon.

Wondering what to be aware of (first time with WP). Thanks.

As always, you should back up your data before upgrading. Personally, I had no problems whatsoever with 3.5 .

SOME plugins are having issues, and therefore spoiling the whole blog. The premium and reputed (free) plugins wouldn't have issues because the developers will release updates. But the other plugins - nothing can be said.
