WP Problem

WEB DESIGN

Hi All

I noticed that whenever I type ' and update, WP adds and extra ' changing it to ''.

eg: haven't - haven''t - haven'''t - etc

I will appreciate it if someone will please help with this, even if I need to install a plugin

That's not WP, that must be your WP...

As always, when a bug appears - first steps of troubleshooting: deactivate all plugins, revert back to the default theme and check.

If the bug is gone... re-activate everything one by one and check after every change. You'll always find the culprit.

That's pretty annoying.
Default WP v3.5 with default theme will not do that.
What version of WP?
What's your theme?
Doesn't sound like WP as much as something in the theme or even a plugin you might be using.
Deactivate all (theme-plugins) and use default theme.
Still have an issue? If not,
start activating one by one until the issue comes back.

I deactivated all plugins - tried and failed
I changed theme to "Twenty Twelve" - tried and failed

I am using WP3.5
Theme is "Boldy"
Plugins are Akismet, Contact Form 7, CSS3 Web Pricing Tables Grids, Duplicator, Search Regex

OK, you mean you had all the plugins deactivated AND using the default theme - in the same time... and nothing changed?

Did I understand well, it happens only when you "update" an entry? Or does it happen as well when you initially save a draft or post?

I edited the php.ini file. Changed all "Magic Quotes" off.
