Recently discovered tables can be easily configured on WordPress pages using a plugin called TinyMCE. My question about TinyMCE is pretty basic.....what are the caveats? Has anyone used it? How do you like it?

TinyMCE is good and widely used. If I have to do tables though, I use wp tables reloaded (now called TablePress).

"TinyMCE Advanced" and "Ultimate TinyMCE" is most widely used editors. Me too like both of them.

Good getting all of this in advance of my laying out my "home page". I also note there is a version TinyMCE 4.0.4 and wonder if anyone has had experience with it? And can this plug-in be used for adding Google AdSense to your pages? I was looking at possibly adding tables via HTML but it takes so much time, copying into Notepad and pasting and having to make sure everything is configured properly, it's very aggravating and I want to find something that offers ease in adding potential affiliate ads (like AdSense) and then use table for adding and properly positioning themed galleries on a page. Never heard of TablePress.....will look at that too. I haven't downloaded or installed anything yet....just looking, pondering and investigating....thank you
