Nice concept... but you should add some graphic images or something to fill the white spaces...

One thing is completely wrong: the hyphen - . You should have been able to find a domain without ---.

I just g+ed and pinned a couple of quotes.

This is a really nice site, clean to look at and easy to use.

I would agree with the above comment. Add a graphic and also a tag line stating that this is a collection of quotes to share at the press of a button.

Hey nodesolomo, add some images. Better header with a logo should be fine, you can also add background boxes behind the texts so it's not just negative space and fonts everywhere we look. good luck.

Your new design is definately better than the acual one, it has that little something that makes it more appealing to user, has contrast, has color. Good job!

How can a person add a quote? I don't see any button to do this. I think a wp theme with pictures blocks (like a magazine theme) would be better and you could make it the "popular" quotes, or favorites, etc. Then have the lists. If each quote is its own image, this shouldn't be too hard.

Go on fiverr and have someone make you a little character logo, like a cute person/animal, etc with a speech bubble that says quote-able.com in it. Then create a fun header with it. Liven it up and make it fun to want to stay and read. Maybe a voting system where it brings to the top the quotes that are most shared.

Ok, I looked into it and it might be best to use a "photograph" wp theme. Here is a link to a page with a bunch of them. "Beat" looks cool. I like the wood background. Sort of reminds me of a retro bowling ally

Great idea and site. Whole concept is neat. It is clean and simple and I like it very much.

Looks great and there has been a lot of work go into it but I have to agree it needs images even if it was only a header image to give it a different look. It is easy to look at and easy to fine the sayings or quotes.

Your site is great, but it looks dull. Try improving it by using good typography and incorporate images.

I like it way better that the original site, you have come a long-long way. It's good that you are actually listening to the people who are giving you advise. I mean a lot of the people here are asking for suggestions but not changing anything.

Based on your brief description, the design seems to lend itself very well toward your goal. It is very simple and minimizes fluff. What isn't mentioned in your post is what you want your audience to do specifically.

For fun, I always like to run my designs through an attention mapping service like:

You can generate a few maps without paying!

Although this is a simulated attention map, it may help you gain more perspective on capturing the attention of your audience.

From a web design and usability standpoint, the menu containing "Famous Quotes, Authors, and Topics" should have greater space between the menu items. In my first 30 seconds looking over and browsing the site, I thought it was just a sentence or tagline until I realized it didn't make sense as one cohesive phrase.

You have single spaces between words and double spaces between links. You can space the links, for example, 20px or more to really make them stand out.

Simple layout, clever domain name. I like it. Although in the bubble thing by the penguin it says 50,0000. You might want to take off a zero.

What I would do is on the right site the navigation. I would change the links a bit, because they look to me a bit "spammy" and I cant find what I search.

Just focus on the navigation, and it will be a very good site.
