Anyone know a plugin to accomplish this?

WEB DESIGN

I was just on the NCAA site and saw this awesome looking banner in the bottom of the site. The best thing about it is that is stays static there while the site scrolls freely.

Anyway, this got my creative juices flowing for some of my clients sites.

Looking for a plugin that might be able to accomplish this.

The graphics part is the easy part.

No plugin needed, you just need to make the banner div position fixed using css.

It wasn't updated for 2 years... but look for similar ones. There was a time every when every Tom, Dick and Harry was releasing a plugin like that.

Some were worse than others, of course...

Yea, you really just need to change the CSS. Here's the general idea.
Code:

#footer { position:fixed; width: 1000px; bottom: 0; left: 50%; margin-left: -500px; }
Change the id to match yours. Change the width to match yours. Margin-left should be half the width.

You can create this affect by assigning the css rule position:fixed to the footer element.

For example:

The key with this particular site's look is that they've used a .png file with a transparent background.
