I'm about to release an eBook set I wrote myself, Just wondering how should I market it.
For start, I need a website and I already purchased the domains.

Now I'm confused about the site layout.

I need to employ those fancy Landing pages we see everywhere, And Yes I've made some and plan to use it.

However I need a main site or a directory since it's a set, and not a single product hence I plan to have a set.

What should I go for? Some website template or WP theme that look really slick and professional?

I'm confused, and I do plan to have the site which basically introduces the set, and has multiple links leading to the individual landing/sales pages.
Can you suggest me a site layout, and then a suitable theme?

Preferably light colored, like the WF theme itself ^^
(Not exactly the same)

Also do list the one that'd have amazing plugin support for SEO and stuff.

Budget no bar. Thanks for reading, I'd really appreciate some help

    Hi

For Your Purpose, A Wordpress Theme will be best, find either Free Wordpress Themes, or buy a good one from sites like ThemeForest or many more....

With Wordpress Theme, you can introduce your product, and as well you can display a product gallery, you can install PayPal Cart PLugins to sell them online, can have a contact and support page, and many more features!

So i will suggest you a Wordpress Theme!

And also if you are fine in budget, then i can design & program a Awesome Website for you

    Thanks

  • Only theme wont help, you need a very good copywriter who could give you a killer sales page and then also someone for graphics.

Sales page is the heart of your entire sales funnel

I would never use WP for a sales page...

WP is bloated, a sales page is even more bloated... will slow down your site a lot.

Actually, you are not "confused about layout" - you are confused about your sales funnel...

You should think that over: is it really the best solution to have a 'directory' landing page with multiple offers... or should it rather be a salespage for each product that takes the visitor to the next step in the selling process. Then, after downloading (or, as an alternative, before they leave the page) you can offer the other related products.

I agree with what Michael said: no need for WP to set up a sales page!
The whole thing is NOT about WP or themes or "layout". It is about professionally written sales copy + good quality product* + targeted traffic.

So forget WP, themes and 'layout'! Figure out the steps in your sales funnel and when you have a clear understanding of it... the "design" part will come by itself

#Mike: Then what else do you suggest?

#Istvan: I need a common housing for all the products, since it's a set and I would allow sellers to buy the complete set itself via the main page, and individual eBooks by taking them to seperate sales pages for each eBook. That's the sales funnel I've considered.

What are your recommendations for design bud?

    Thanks for responding guys.

I use OptimizePress theme for my eBook with Wordpress. It works great because its VERY customizable for sales pages, squeeze pages, etc. Does a great job.
