Creating a Picture Website

Hello Everyone,

How can I create a website the just photos of people on the site.

I want something like the whole screen to be one color with the picture in the middle

A brief description under each photo.

I want it to be like a slide show where they can go forward and back.

Maybe a couple pages of text on first couple of pages

Does anyone know if there is some software or a way I can do this?

      Your site is very interesting.

      How did you create your site?

      I'm doing this project for fun.

      It doesn't really have to look professional, just nice

      I basically just want the entire back round a certain color with the picture in the middle and the option to click to the nest picture like a slideshow.

      Maybe a date and names right under the picture.

        Hi,

        It's in HTML, nothing complicated. Here's the first bit of coding, it's a bit cramped here, copy it to Notepad for clarity.

    I found weebly.com , a free website builder and so easy.....so practice there

    you can add pics and do what ever you want

    It's free, I 'm not affiliated to it, go see your self and see what you think
    I just thought it deadly, cause I'm not used to building websites....:rolleyes:

    I'd like a picture website where you click on the next picture and each picture has it's own URL. But visitors can add photos to the website. I can delete any bad content and visitors can;t see the gallery, they just see the picture and have the option to see the next or last picture.

    Like this but better and where visitors can add photos - Pooh writing for help! | Bkup

    Anyone help with this?

    I would highly encourage you to take some interest in Wordpress. There are thousands of picture gallery themes that you can choose from that look stunningly professional.

    I am not sure the exact specifications and parameters you want your new photo website to contain but if you have a Wordpress account and you're logged in, go to Appearance > Themes in the main menu and search for themes to use but before you search, there is a function that lets you put a check mark on all the parameters you want your website to have (photos, membership, colors).
