Problem with slicing in Photoshop

Hi Warriors,

I have made a website template. It's in Jpeg format. To make things flow easier I decided to slice the template using Photoshop to save time. The problem was after I have sliced the template it was not according to the image template. Some of the part I have sliced were misaligned.

Anyone can advise about this? I use slicing to save the time in coding.

And also if you can, please advise me with more techiniques.

Thanks,
Travis

    You need to slice manually.

Photoshop auto slicing is not accurate.

I don't think you have an idea about Photoshop slicing. Nor HTML coding. I was going to offer assistance, but not after this.

        Good luck.

... says the person who doesn't know how to slice themselves.

Your question is confusing. If you have sliced things correctly then the resulting images should be correct. There is obviously something wrong with the way you are slicing your image.

"I use slicing to save the time in coding"

In what way is slicing related to coding ? If it is an image obviously you will crop the image and then use it, but if its a single color, you would use the hex code.

"The problem was after I have sliced the template it was not according to the image template."

Sliced the template ?? Or did you mean that you converted a PSD to a HTML ( or whatever ) template and it doesn't look like the PSD ? Then there is problem in your coding, not in your "slicing"....

          Hi there Buds,

Newbie here. Maybe you won't welcome newbies but the warriorforum welcomes newbies.

By the way, you make things more confusing. What really happened to you man?

To follow you up, not all newbies don't have an idea on what's going on.

You still didn't answer the question which the OP asked....

"not all newbies don't have an idea on what's going on."

So you shouldn't even comment on something....

    C'mon kids, take a pill.

@Marie - the OPs question was as clear as Mississippi mud. Can't be answered intelligently, only speculated upon.

Most people on the WF welcome newbies - but not ones that attempt a lecture on their 5th post.
