Hello, can anyone offer some type of free service or method to convert a psd website to html that can be used in Dreamweaver. Is there a method besides just slicing the psd up?

Thanks

Summary: You can use some of familiar tools: Image Ready can cut stuff automatically and generate nasty HTML with the tables and cells. Macromedia Fireworks works well with Dreamweaver. You can open a PSD in Fireworks, slice it and then export to Dreamweaver. You can use Photoshop. Just slice all the different parts and create layers in Dreamweaver or some other WYSIWYG web design tool. and a nice tutorial to do it Converting a Design From PSD to HTML - Nettuts+

It's going to take a little learning....I only wish it was as easy as slicing it up and hitting a few buttons.

If you don't mind spending the cash upfront, just Google "PSD to HTML" or "PSD to CSS".

If you have some design skills try finding someone with coding skills and barter services, this way you can help each other out.

Hmm... to convert a PSD to HTML you can:
    - Use a company as Minisite Nerd suggested - google them
    - simply slice it in Photoshop, choose Save for Web and then in FrontPage or Dreamweaver change all the places you want to put text to from img to background

Wow I asked this question a lot of times and you just come straight out with the answer..but I found a really simple way.. it leaves a footprint, but waht I do is take the images from the newly created Photoshop sliced HTML and import into XSitePro into all the places they belong, tidy it up a bit and then export it as html again...

Voila I have a nice HTM template to work with...

I cant beleive its as simple as changing it to background...

I could basically change most of it to background now instead of the header and footer... right?
