Hello everyone,

I'm testing two landing page themes to see which one best matches my desired brand. All you have to do is visit the link and provide your feedback. It is a very quick process and will greatly help me. Thanks.

No, it will not. Because this is not a real split test... just a poll of the taste of our diligent spammers that will post here oneliner idiotic posts

And then a mean mod will either close or delete your whole thread.

Split test means just that: you go LIVE and see which one is converting better. What people do when faced with the live site and what they say here in the forum is never the same...

Actually, you didn't broke any "rules"... I was more concerned that you may misunderstand the split test idea and would get completely misleading results.

Our collective preference for "first impression" will hardly tell you anything relevant about better conversion. And that is the ultimate goal... not a popularity contest in a forum where half of the participants are clueless about design

It’s actually been very helpful. I’ve improved time spent on landing page and conversion rate. I agree that most people are not experts in design, which means there are more non expert designers than there are expert designers. So if I have a landing page I can assume that over 90% of people viewing my landing page are not design experts. Due to this reality what becomes important to me is what the average person feels when they visit my landing page. If they are turned off to it, why? Do they feel like it’s lacking in creativity, sense of humor, honesty, reliability, uniqueness, and so forth? What I started finding out is that every little thing makes the biggest difference in creating a great conversion rate.

In one of the tests I conducted for a logo, I discovered that approximately 40% of people were turned off to the logo because it appeared arrogant. The feeling of arrogance associated to the logo was due to the logo font and icon placement. The moment the logo is placed on a landing page, the negative traits attached to the logo are transferred to the landing page. All of a sudden you have several people turned off to the landing page because they feel it’s arrogant. This sounds crazy, but research studies have proven that new website visitors spend most of their time on the website viewing the logo.

My goal is to capture the underlying reason as to why a first time visitor to my landing page may love or hate it. The best way I’ve come to do this is through first impression insights. Thanks again Istvan, I really appreciate your insight.

Simples templates, I will choose 2nd template, it's clear design.
