(paste-and-copy destroying all the page!)

it works perfect for setting up tables in posts & pages.

I used to use WP-Table, but WP-Table-Reloaded is much better.

TinyMCE Advanced Plugin. It's good. You'll have a number of text editing options including table insert. Download from here-
