I have my mocuse pointer hovering of the buy button for this course.

https://store.kagi.com/cgi-bin/store.cgi?storeID=WC4&&

The platinum bundle.. I have chosen.

Now before I go any further, and because I haven't found anything else that seems to offer the same as this course..

Does it look like it's actually going to have the potential to turn me into a web designer?

Cheers.

    Hard to say if it will be any good... I might suggest trying one course they have and seeing if it's a right fit. The price is certainly right. Keeping in mind that all of that information is available free on the web. I do understand the need for a "guided" course though.

    It is hard to know if this would be good for you or not. Every person has a different background and learning style. What works for me might not work for you.

    I teach people how to build and maintain web sites.

    If you have the tools and are able to read and digest information, I would do it online but not via paid courses. You need to get your feet wet... Try something like w3schools.com (FREE). Work through all the info they have on HTML (XHTML) and CSS. Then you will have a foundation to work from.... Nest, start looking for some more advanced material...

    Designing web sites is a combination of tech and art. You need to be a bit of both to make sites that are hot. If you are good on the tech side but bad with colors and layout, you need to find someone to work with.

    Being a one man band so to speak takes time and dedication. You need to be able to look at what you are weakest at and then work on that skills. If you are just starting our, get the basic HTML and CSS stuff going first... Then you can start looking at graphics (Photoshop).

    Have a Great Day!
