Change AI in to layer PSD

I have an AI file that needs to change into PSD and preserve the layer format.

I tried many times but no succeed, does anyone know how to do it?

    You can do it if you have Illustrator. If you try to import into Photoshop directly it will flatten the layers.

    So, open up Illustrator,

    Go to File>Export. Select Photoshop (psd) as the format.
    In the next dialog box, you need to enter the resolution, then select Write Layers and Maximum Editability.
    You need to choose CMYK or Grayscale color modes, the write layer option is not there if you choose RGB.

    Now you can export then open in Photoshop with layers preserved.
