Wordpress Theme Help

Hello all,

I am new and I would probably ask stupid questions but here it goes.

I am trying to build an affiliate store, i am using wordpress with woocommerce and purchased this theme called , cheope. I thought it was plug and play.....NOT. My store is new, fresh, no products installed yet at all. I will be using amazon affiliate.

Here are my problems.

1- after installing the theme, it is not what it seems to look like, and when install the demo then I have a lot of pictures and i can't find to know where they are plus it will get "purchase Cheope" on top column which I will not need and yet can't find to delete it.

2- The language is not English so I wanted to change that and I can't do it, under two reasons. I am using Hostgator, the FTP account has only Windows and Mac and I use Linux/Ubuntu. I stopped right there and better to cut my losses or ask questions before I try either or.

I lost my job at the end of last month and I have been trying to get this web up and running and I have been working on it so long I am going no where.

Since you know my problem, If I was going to pay a developer to put the theme up, how much should I expect to pay, or how much is fair to the developer and expense to me?

Second question I have is that, is there an option where I could use the amazon cart and disable the theme cart?

I really thank you in advance and I apologize writing a whole book about something that could simple stupid but hey I got to ask after twenty plus days messing with it.

You can contact with person who you bought theme from, and I can know your live site running ?

  I did contact them but they take forever, I am assuming they are busy with a lot of tickets requests.

Hi,

First of all I'd like to inform you that after you purchase theme and install it to your server, it doesn't mean that it will look the same as on preview.. In order to get the same look you have to do lots of adjustments and basically play around with the theme..

If you bought that theme I'd suggest to use their support, I've once bought from woocommerce and when I had some issues I post it there, (for your theme it's Support for Cheope Shop - Flexible e-Commerce Theme | ThemeForest) they were really quick and solved most of my problems..

  Actually there is a sample data that creates the demo for that exact version. I edited to almost how I wanted but for some reason it makes the server slow or creates some issue. I know because Hostgator gave me 500 error code and my website was loading up so slow, like an Internet slow page loads halfway etc. So, I decided to add one by one and redo all over again. Well, I will probably do it and figure it out but It will not be anytime soon.
