I want to learn webdesign

I want to learn about web design. But I do not know form where I will start.
Anybody can advise me about it?? It will be helpful for me to start

    There are literally hundreds of options out there but I suppose it would depend on what kind of learner you are. For example some people just jump right in and start making things then they scour the web for answers when there is something they don’ t know how to do.

    Others need more formal training to feel comfortable even starting. You could check out Treehouse. They offer web design classes online and they have a structured class outline. I think it costs money but you could check it out.

    There are some good tutorials on lynda.com try them out , If I were you I would learn HTML,CSS and JAVASCRIPT first.

    It's a pretty broad topic, but you'll want to learn the basics first. There are lots of blogs and websites out there with tonnes of content explaining the basics of coding and web designing. You may also want to purchase some books on the subject. Lynda.com also has a lot of great courses on web design, and covers almost everything related to the subject.

    Learn some basics from tutorials and then go get a small job - that would polish you or else there will be many confusions. You always need peers to correct, appreciate or whatever else.

    I would suggest you to start with this book:

    Head First HTML and CSS: Elisabeth Robson, Eric...Head First HTML and CSS: Elisabeth Robson, Eric...
    Its an perfect interactive book with a little theory and lots of exercises... It helped me a lot and I'd say its pretty cheap for what you really get..
