What is best for design and for programmign generaly?

Custom design / custom code?
Or using some ready template and framework (like drupal, wp, magento etc)?

    WordPress is the CMS of choice, and can be used for single page sites or million page sites.

    A lot depends on what you are planning on doing with the site. If you are making a CPA landing page you can use simple PHP/HTML/CSS and custom make the site, being like 4 or 5 pages is all, a simple sales site for example with a TOS, contact, and order pages.
    But this can be done with WP too, and gives you a ready made back end with no muss or fuss.

    I would go custom 100% using templates just isn't going to get you brand able presence your looking for.

    WordPress is definitely my first choice. I use the free plugin tinymce advanced and can pretty much design the layout in any way I want.

    And with some css tweaking you can really transform your sites.

    I agree with Ron, every project is different and unique, so its hard to say what's better or not..

    But definetly use both WP and custom!!
