Help Please - Navigating the Editor

WEB DESIGN

Hi folks,

I am simply trying to delete one word - "Home" from the home page itself.

I see it in Firebug but do not understand where to find it in the Editor.

I am not understanding now to find something quickly in the Editor once I find it in Firebug.

It's the code <h1 class="entry-title">...</h1> located in the template of your wordpress theme for that specific page layout.

I suggest creating a new page template, renaming it something like "homepage-no-title" and remove that line in the template.

Hopefully that helps a little.

I saw the code in Firebug. I just don't know where to find it in the Editor. Which template? I am just scrolling through endlessly looking for it. There must be an indicator in Firebug to where it is in the Editor...

  I don't see it in the link you shared.
  
  In Firebug I was able to delete the word "home" at the end and it took care of the problem. Is there a reason why I can't find this line in the editor?

So I am clear you want to remove the word "Home" right above the word "question" but keep the other pages intact ?

I just quickly googled "remove home title from wordpress" and found this 'how to' on Wordpress support forum.
