Please Review My New Website (Related to Cell Phone Resale)

Hi, I just launched my new website UnusedUpgrades.com and would appreciate any feedback I could get.

I've been running an offline cell phone resale operation for awhile now and I'm trying out a new venture here. The idea is that lots of people are eligible to upgrade their phones at heavily subsidized prices, but don't. I'm trying to purchase these phones for substantially more than their upgrade costs.

If you could give me any feedback about the website's design or content that would be appreciated.

Thanks!

-Chris

Simple site but I think you have what you want, should add content for footer because now it's empty

The homepage is very basic. The header is quite cool. Could you throw some images in there (in the body, not the header)? That would help.

The header area, up to the home link, is taking up so much valuable real estate.

Also, the title, "How Much Can I make?". Make for what? Need to get right to the specifics and the benefit for the visitor or they leave. Think the sub title should be the main title: Make up to $250 for each unused upgrade you have.

    I like the colors.

The bottom portion needs some kind of formatting, well you know that. Just kinda messy right now.

Sounds like a great idea for a site though.

I agree with Ron Killian on the above. The design is nice and simple, but the header takes up way too much space. I would reduce the height of the header to no more than 150px, reduce the size of the main title, and add the sub-title to the header beneath the title.

The area "above the fold" is your prime real estate and you need to grab the attention of your visitors immediately without them having to scroll down to find out what your site is about. Let's face it - most people will not scroll down to find out - they will leave if they don't see something that catches their attention in the first two seconds.

I also agree that adding a few images in the content would be a way to possibly create some additional interest.

Need some type of image up top that really stands out...

I'd imagine the bounce rate on this could be very high UNLESS...

    They found you via search.

Nothing stands out to me as to what it is.

And I'm sure most people don't know they can sell this.

Your site looks awesome and the color combo is great too. Your footer area is empty, try adding content to it. Just a suggestion
